He was born in the 50's and she grew up in the 90's
A different generation, but still faith brought them together
And this tale has nothing to do with affection
Just two souls who met on purpose
To inspire and to share
A moment to cherish
Surrounded by the silence and nature
All they had were the words that spilled out of their mouths
The smell of his cigarette and the sound of the playing dogs
And sure there was a connection between the two
A unknown feeling, a conversation something more than just a
how do you do
And all I wonder about and perhaps you do too
Is this a love story which never was meant to be
Has time put its foot between the doors of faith
Or is it faith that has brought them together just to share
that single moment
I am pretty sure I can call it a moment of joy and happiness
A moment where the world does not exist
A moment of inspiration
Both generations face the fears of growing older and looking back at life
Either way both agreed in one thing
Time was not given to regret
Not now and not then
As they walked back home
He went right and she walked on
They realised that they shared a special moment
Something faith gave them,
For what you may ask?
And the answer is all yours to decide
All I can say is that their paths won't cross that soon
Souls which met in another life, reunited back together
Both born in a different time
but time and faith gave them the chance to meet again
To share wisdom and be ware
Of life and time
But also to have a chance to say
I see you in the after life..
