Growing up in the shadows of society

Going back to the time where my dreams meant so much
Where the world was mine
And they could not hold me back
The time I could not wait to dream again

Going back to the moment
Where they taught me to be a figure in society
A world where daydreams even dreams
Were for the weak

Going back to the moment
Where they told me I could not make it
I was wrong and too much me
Those retards, our so called society, could not shape me

Going back to the moment where I lost a hero
Where I lost you
Living this life without your existence
All I could do was blame myself

Going back to the time
Where I home was a battlefield
Where I was afraid of losing you
Wide awake, never got the chance to dream
Living in fear, fear for my dreams & fear for this god damn reality

Going back to the time
Where I almost lost you
Tears running over your face
In that moment I met my demon
I was able to kill

Going back to the time
Where I was truly lost
Days were filled with fear and anxiety
You dug your own grave and  buried a man which could be my hero
And I started from scratch with everyone one I loved
Living day by day

Going back to the time
Where our eyes first met
You helped me get through
But then you broke me into million pieces

Going back in time
Where you were my guiding light
You lead me to a crossroad
It was you that made me see life
You taught me to dream again and see a better reality
And I walked away from edge, from a destination six feet under

So in time I found me
And time made me stronger
I found my destiny
And one day I was blessed to meet you
Your words made me realise that you were special
You seemed so far away
Falling and loving again seemed so impossible
But with you my love, dreams are reality

Unknown

You know my name
And you may have seen my scars
And just like everyone else
You point your finger

All you know is my name

And you think you know, that you have seen it all
I can assure you, you have seen nothing at all
Once you knew the color of my eyes

But all you know now is my name

You've looked into my eyes
But you never took a moment
To look into my soul

Souls which were destined to met

He was born in the 50's and she grew up in the 90's
A different generation, but still faith brought them together
And this tale has nothing to do with affection
Just two souls who met on purpose
To inspire and to share
A moment to cherish

Surrounded by the silence and nature
All they had were the words that spilled out of their mouths
The smell of his cigarette and the sound of the playing dogs
And sure there was a connection between the two
A unknown feeling, a conversation something more than just a
how do you do

And all I wonder about and perhaps you do too
Is this a love story which never was meant to be
Has time put its foot between the doors of faith
Or is it faith that has brought them together just to share
that single moment

I am pretty sure I can call it a moment of joy and happiness
A moment where the world does not exist
A moment of inspiration
Both generations face the fears of growing older and looking back at life
Either way both agreed in one thing
Time was not given to regret
Not now and not then

As they walked back home
He went right and she walked on
They realised that they shared a special moment
Something faith gave them,

For what you may ask?
And the answer is all yours to decide
All I can say is that their paths won't cross that soon
Souls which met in another life, reunited back together
Both born in a different time
but time and faith gave them the chance to meet again

To share wisdom and be ware
Of life and time
But also to have a chance to say
I see you in the after life..

Cold memories

It's the pain what's holding me back
The names I have met

It's the smile I can't forget
The cold memories I see in nightmares

It's the blood in my veins
Which has turned into black

It's the missing puzzle piece
Which is shouting my name

It's the star that has collide
The mirror that has burst

And I, I've lost track of time
In time I've lost me
